Description

A deeply seminal work in which the entire concert given at the Herodion in 1994 of Elytis' Orientations composed by Elias Andriopoulos is decoded, as well as the songs Ena to helidoni and Kato stis margaritas t' alonaki.

The connection of our Nobel laureate poet with the Theologian Orpheus is demonstrated and important concepts of Orphism, such as Days, Night and Sleep, are given in a comprehensible manner.

Orphism is the Greek way of viewing and capturing the Universal Truth and the role of man in Creation. This Greek worldview is unique to Pythagoras, Homer, Plato, the Neoplatonists and it reaches today's Greek poetry unadulterated, through the work of its great contemporary mystics, such as Odysseus Elytis and Angelos Sikelianos.

Their tool is the Greek Word, which Hermetically hides mysterious knowledge in key words, which encode the greatness of the Greek intellect. In this book, by tracing poems from the works of Odysseus Elytis (Orientations, Axion Esti and έlios the First), the connection of our Nobel laureate poet with the Theologian Orpheus is demonstrated and important concepts of Orphism are given in a comprehensible way.

Elytis becomes a Ritualist. Every verse of his, every word reflects the result of an introversion of the soul, which happens when its inner vision opens, the soul's omma, and it remembers what it had seen in the etheric fields before its incarnation. Through the mysterious poetry of a modern Odysseus, the memories of the mental fields come to life, "you remembered the innocent night"!
